The Old State House

After getting squashed watching the Bruins Victory parade, we walked part of the Freedom Trail. It is a 2.5 mile walking trail that leads you by 16 significant historic sites. You just follow the red-brick line.

One of the sites is the Old State House:

Freedom Trail

It is Boston’s oldest public building. Now it is used as a museum and underneath is a T (train station).

I love the contrast with the modern buildings behind it.

How nice of them to give you a path to follow. This was outstanding with the modern city all around but the building is still proud and majestic. Hugs
