Foundry on Elm Brunch

Foundry on Elm Brunch

A few weeks ago, I went to Foundry on Elm in Davis Square with the Boston Brunchers. I had not eaten at Foundry before, so I was excited to try out their brunch.

They just launched their brunch buffet and here is their brunch menu.

They ordered a few plates of french beignets for us and it included lemon curd and chocolate dipping sauces.

Our table between the beignet course and our dishes…. patiently waiting…..

My neighbors’ dishes of a breakfast sandwich (sausage, egg, cheese, croissant, and cheese) and home fries and the vol-au-vent (bacon, egg, spinach in a puffed pastry dish). Everyone who tried this vol-au-vent dish raved about it. I sadly, didn’t get to try it!

A group dish of the dutch baby (think blueberry cobbler with apple and cinnamon) and the flatbread (with bacon and eggs) in the background:

I ordered the steak and eggs with sautéed spinach (under the steak) and home fries. It was fantastic. The steak was cooked exactly as I asked and the eggs were great too!

That’s all she wrote….. and all I could eat!

The staff at Foundry were very accommodating and were very attentive to our needs.  I definitely want to go back and try dinner!
