Last Friday, my friend Tonya and I met up at Park restaurant in Cambridge, near Harvard Square. It’s on JFK street, where the Redline used to be. It opened this past spring.
It was so great to catch up with Tonya! I heard about her recent trip to NYC a d her Thanksgiving holiday and trip back to Kentucky!
We shared a cheese platter and I ordered the grilled pork chop with greens.
Tonya got the slow roasted brisket, white beans and caramelized vegetables. She also wanted to try their brussel sprouts with bacon (you can see them in the top picture to the side) but they needed more butter.
The atmosphere was pretty hopping and I loved the decor. Old and lots of color. It was a happening place at 8pm on a Friday night.
