A few weeks ago, I received an invitation courtesy of the Boston Bruchers group to go to Bokx 109 on a Sunday of my choice. It was fun to bring along someone and still enjoy the atmosphere of brunch, even if the rest of the brunchers weren’t there.
Bokx 109 is in Newton, MA and just outside of Boston. It is located inside Hotel Indigo and is a modern, upscale American restaurant.
Below is the entryway where you can see that the left side is the lounge area, and group seating on the right, separated by the bar. The interior is a mix of brown and red.
He had never had a bloody mary. Like I said at the last brunch at Sinclair’s, I’m not a big bloody mary fan, but the manager insisted that we try it. It was good that he could tailor it to our non spicy needs. Here is a close up of the veggies in it.
I really had a hard time deciding what to order. Recently, I have been going with an egg dish, but before that I always went with the sweet dish- either the pancakes, waffles, or french toast.
Tony’s Steak Omelete. It had very, very tender steak, smoked gouda, caramelized onions, and mushrooms inside with greens and balsamic glaze on top. He said it was amazing and the meat very tender and flavorful.
After enjoying our brunch, we walked around the rest of the restaurant and pool area.
Here’s a view of the pool.
This brunch was free of charge, but the opinions are my own.
