Last Weekend, I went to Del Frisco’s in the Boston Seaport area with Blog and Tweet Boston. We were treated to a private lunch dining experience. They are open during the week for lunch.
Main dining area facing the harbor.
I’m not a big seafood fan (mainly like crab, lobster, and shrimp), but I tried the tuna tartare and it was very good.
The best crab cake I’ve ever had. A quote from Del Frisco’s: “All crab, no cake.”
Some examples of salads, steak tips, and in the background, chips.
They brought out full size items for us to see and pass around and we also got smaller portions ourselves.
Now, granted, we had the entire restaurant to ourselves, but this was one of the best service experiences I’ve ever had. They were fantastic.
We had 3 large tables, here was my table.
They brought out different cuts of meat, along with family style sides. I loved the mashed potatoes and corn the most.
I felt like we tried everything from their menu.

The view from the private room was perfect!
And to end the afternoon, cake!
This was a 6 layer lemon cake with buttercream icing. Definitely sharable!
My favorites were the crab cake, mashed potatoes, and lemon cake!
Disclaimer: I attended this complimentary lunch as a guest of Blog and Tweet Boston and Del Frisco’s. I was not compensated write this post. All opinions are my own!
I’m so bummed that I missed this; I love Del Frisco’s! Their lemon cake is my favorite. So much so that I found a similar recipe online so that my mom can make it for me for my birthday. 😉
Looks like you had a fantastic time!
