Blizzard of 2015

Well, we survived the “Blizzard of 2015”, as some people are calling it.
We were lucky. We had nowhere to be. We had power, heat, food, and the internet. But I was bored and lazy. Besides buying a deal on a mani/pedi for the spring, I didn’t get much accomplished today. I did log 3 hours of contracting time today since work was closed and I get paid hourly. I just got notified that we’re closed again tomorrow so I may try to work 4 hours to make up some lost time and day.

Below is a picture of my car around 11am before we went outside. We estimate that we got almost 24 inches of snow. It was hard to tell because of drifts and things blocking snow in one place but piling up in another.
I may try to get more blogging done tomorrow. I also have a ticket to tomorrow’s Louisville at Boston College Men’s basketball game if it is not postponed although I have no clue how I am getting there or back for a 9pm game.

  1. Your pictures just make me want to wrap myself in a blanket and drink hot chocolate! I’m glad you all are doing well though! đŸ™‚

  2. I get ‘goose bumps’ all over just looking at these photos!!! I’m so glad you had power!!
I know that helps a lot!

Surely the U of L game will be postponed. If the players haven’t already come for the game, I seriously doubt that they can land now. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you don’t lose your money on watching that game.

    lots of hugs,

players may not even be able to land the plane there.

  3. So glad It was not worse. Although 24″ sounds really bad. Not sure I can imagine all that snow at once. I remember Louisville had about 18″ and that about did us in. Soni had to stay at the hospital for several days as the they did not want to release their workers. Steve came and picked her up in his truck and took her to get clothes and cosmetics. He brought her to my house as it was her birthday & I was cooking.

  4. these are fantastic and make you daydream about beaches and sunshine. hot chocolate seems like a good idea. hope spring comes quickly. hugs
